I was wondering if you ever delete people who haven't been on here for years? I think that it should be done and if they want to come back they can re-register. Especially my ex-husband who hasn't been on here for over 1 year.

I think it messes up the numbering system or something. But people can ask to have their account disabled, and then when their name appears on a board from an old post or if someone is going through profiles and clicks on their name, it shows you that their account has been disabled.

Think of it as a circle if you will. Deleting old accounts would only make sense if you were going to recycle the user numbers. However that isn't going to happen because one of the nice things about the current system is that, by looking at a specific users number, you can immediately get some idea as to how long they've been a zone member. If you aren't going to recycle the numbers then what would be the point in deleting the accounts, other than to use the old numbers again! It's beautiful isn't it?

Oh man you don't have to bite my head off... I was just wondering and anyway I understand about the numbering system... I know now why it is all important. If you don't ask questions you'll never find the answers.
